💫How To Get Started

Recurring orders are now live on RUJI Trade. This feature lets you follow a consistent investment or profit-taking plan without having to time the market manually.

In this guide, we will show how set up your recurring orders in RUJI Trade on Rujira in just three simple steps.

Step 1: Deposit or Swap Funds into Rujira

In order to use Recurring Orders, you need funds on Rujira. You can do this in one or two ways:

  1. Deposit Funds to Rujira

  • Deposit tokens such as USDC, BTC, ETH, ATOM, or RUNE directly into your Rujira wallet (THOR address). Use the Deposit button on RUJI Portfolio.

  • When depositing USDC, make sure it USDC.eth, from the Ethereum blockchain. If it’s USDC from another blockchain, see 2.

  1. Swap USDC to Rujira Using RUJI Swap (Guide)

  • Use RUJI Swap to swap USDC, other than from Ethereum, directly to USDC.eth on Rujira (your THOR address). You can also swap other assets that you wish to use for your recurring orders.

Note: You will need a small amount of RUNE for gas fees. Although Rujira charges zero gas, wallets still require a tiny amount of RUNE to sign and approve transactions. We recommend holding at least 0.1 RUNE to cover both RUJI Trade and future THORChain transactions.

Step 2: Set Up Your Recurring Orders in RUJI Trade

When your Rujira wallet has assets available, you can create your first Recurring Orders in RUJI Trade:

  1. Choose your trading pair (e.g., example, RUJI and USDC)

  2. Select Buy or Sell

  3. Click Advanced and select Recurring

  4. Set the Total Deposit you want to swap (e.g., example, 1000 USDC)

  5. Choose Number of Swaps you want to split that into (such as 10 swaps of 100 USDC)

  6. Set the “Every” frequency” between swaps (e.g., every hour or day)

Once all fields are filled, confirm your setup and approve the transaction in your wallet.

Step 2.1: Advanced Options

Enable Advanced Options to add additional features to your recurring order:

  • Set Price Ceiling or Price Floor to protect against unfavorable swaps

  • Adjust Max Price Impact per swap to protect against slippage

  • Add a Multiplier to buy more the lower the price goes, or to sell more the higher a price goes based on a reference price

Step 3: Track, Edit, and Cancel Your Strategy

After your strategy is submitted, it will appear in the trade overview. From here, you can:

  • View Progress: Check the remaining time, when the next swap is scheduled, swap frequency, the amount acquired and more

  • Edit Order: Add funds to a strategy and edit an active order

  • Pause Order: Temporarily stop recurring orders

  • Withdraw Funds: (Partially) claim any remaining balances or claim all to stop the strategy

  • Claim Tokens: (Partially) withdraw tokens before the strategy is finished. After a strategy is finished, acquired tokens will automatically be sent to the wallet.

This gives you full control. You set the rules and can change them at any time.
